Campground Caretaker Salary : $15.13 - $17.50 per hour Campground Caretaker Responsibilities : Welcome and check-in campers, provide information about campground amenities and rules. Ensure campground facilities are clean, organized, and well-maintained Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning restrooms, and collecting trash. Patrol campground grounds to ensure safety and security of campers Respond to camper inquiries, complaints, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner Assist campers with setting up campsites, resolving technical issues, and providing guidance on recreational activities Enforce YMCA campground rules and regulations to maintain a peaceful and enjoyable environment for all guests Works cooperatively with the day camp staff team. Supports the aquatic staff team with regular check ins and open radio communication. Coordinate with campground management to report any maintenance or safety concerns Campground Caretaker Qualifications : Previous experience in campground management or hospitality industry preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively Knowledge of basic maintenance and cleaning techniques Familiarity with campground regulations and safety guidelines Valid driver's license Certification in CPR/AED for Adults, Children and Infants and First Aid - training provided. Previous experience with voluntary/non-profit organizations preferred. Previous YMCA experience preferred.
