Why Join the CRM Residential Team: Comprehensive Health Coverage Retirement Savings with employer contribution Bonus Potential Paid Time Off (PTO) Company Paid Holidays What You’ll Get To Do: Under the direction of the Controller and CFO, the Senior Property Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions required to produce monthly GAAP financial statements for properties owned by investment funds or in other joint venture structures. The Senior Property Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to: Review, guide and mentor Property Staff Accountants Maintain work papers and assist in the preparation of audited financial statements and tax returns Review monthly bank reconciliations Record and review monthly adjusting, prepaid and accrual entries Monitor cash balances and recommend capital calls and distributions from/to investors Review monthly financial statement analysis according to GAAP Assist in month and annual variance analysis Compile monthly financial statement package with required supporting documentation Distribute financials to lenders/owners Assist in annual budget preparation Additional duties as assigned by management Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting required At least 5 years of experience required Strong communication skills, good work ethic, analytical thinking Accuracy and timeliness in the completion of the workload Experience in the real estate/property management field RealPage experience preferred.
