The ideal candidate should possess 1+ years of bankruptcy and/or creditor’s rights experience, with a working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code. Job Overview:The Associate Attorney will primarily manage contested or litigated bankruptcy matters, draft and review pleadings and claims, respond to objections and motions, attend hearings, and handle general bankruptcy inquiries. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism are essential for success in this role. Duties:Manage contested or litigated bankruptcy mattersDraft and review all pleadings and claims filedRespond to objections and motionsAttend scheduled hearingsRespond to general firm-wide bankruptcy inquiriesOther duties as assignedDocument preparation and executionDraft and review all filings on behalf of clientsMonitor electronic filings (ECFs)Regular communication with clients Requirements:JD Law degreeAdmitted to practice law in Pennsylvania preferred1+ years of bankruptcy and/or creditor’s rights experienceExperience representing creditors and/or debtors in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy casesFamiliarity with CM/ECF filing systemKnowledge of bankruptcy rules/laws and general creditor rights lawsAdvanced computer literacyAbility to learn and utilize different case management systemsSolid understanding of consumer loan documentsEffective time managementCommunication skills Education Certifications:JD Law degreeLicense to practice law in Pennsylvania preferredAdmitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and Federal Districts in PennsylvaniaAdmissions in other jurisdictions a strong plus
